Discover overview

Discover is the query builder. Pick a reveal, select fields, run the query, and get a chart — no SQL required.

Running a query

1. Select a reveal from the picker
2. Click fields in the left panel to add them (time → dimensions → metrics)
3. Click ▶ Run (or press ⌘ Enter)
4. Results appear in the chart area

Switching chart types

Use the pill bar above the results to switch chart types. Dimmed pills indicate chart types that can't be rendered with the current field selection.

Settings panel

Click ⚙ (top-right of chart area) to open the settings panel:

• Themes and series colours
• Per-chart-type settings
• Conditional formatting

Saving and pinning

• Save query — stores the current field selection and chart type in History
• Pin to Mosaic — creates a tile on a dashboard with the current query and chart settings
