Signals overview
Signals is Celiq's automated anomaly detection and alerting system. It monitors your key metrics and notifies you when values deviate from expected patterns.
How Signals works
- You define a signal — a metric, threshold, and schedule
- Celiq runs the query on the schedule
- If the value crosses the threshold (or an anomaly is detected), an alert is triggered
- The alert is delivered via Slack, email, or in-app notification
Signal types
| Type | Trigger |
|---|---|
| Threshold | Value goes above or below a fixed number |
| Anomaly | Value deviates from the AI-predicted range |
| Delta | Week-over-week or month-over-month change exceeds a % |
| Missing data | No rows returned for the period |
Creating a Signal
- Go to Signals → + New Signal
- Select a reveal and metric
- Choose the signal type and configure the threshold
- Set the schedule (hourly, daily, weekly)
- Choose delivery: Slack channel, email, or in-app
- Click Save
Alert history
All fired alerts appear in Signals → Alert history with the triggering value, timestamp, and delivery status.
