Signals overview

Signals is Celiq's automated anomaly detection and alerting system. It monitors your key metrics and notifies you when values deviate from expected patterns.

How Signals works

  1. You define a signal — a metric, threshold, and schedule
  2. Celiq runs the query on the schedule
  3. If the value crosses the threshold (or an anomaly is detected), an alert is triggered
  4. The alert is delivered via Slack, email, or in-app notification

Signal types

TypeTrigger
ThresholdValue goes above or below a fixed number
AnomalyValue deviates from the AI-predicted range
DeltaWeek-over-week or month-over-month change exceeds a %
Missing dataNo rows returned for the period

Creating a Signal

  1. Go to Signals → + New Signal
  2. Select a reveal and metric
  3. Choose the signal type and configure the threshold
  4. Set the schedule (hourly, daily, weekly)
  5. Choose delivery: Slack channel, email, or in-app
  6. Click Save

Alert history

All fired alerts appear in Signals → Alert history with the triggering value, timestamp, and delivery status.
