Tip
What it is: Plain-English goal tracking with automatic velocity calculation and predictive alerts.
Why use it: Know whether you'll hit a deadline weeks before it arrives โ€” not the day after you miss it.
Where to find it: Suite โ†’ Goals (/goals)
Who can use it: All roles. Luminary and Weaver can create and edit goals; Tracer can view progress.

Goal Tracking

Set a goal in plain English ("$1M revenue by Q3"). Celiq tracks progress automatically, shows velocity, and flags when you're off track.

Setting a goal

Suite โ†’ Goals โ†’ "Set a Goal"

Type naturally: reach $500K revenue by December 2026

Orion parses three things from your description:

  • Metric โ€” the KPI to track (revenue, CAC, churn rate, etc.)
  • Target โ€” the value to reach
  • Deadline โ€” the date by which to reach it

Once created, Celiq begins tracking progress against that goal automatically using your live metric data.

How progress is calculated

TermDefinition
VelocityWeekly change rate calculated from the last 4 metric snapshots
Projectioncurrent_value + (velocity ร— weeks_remaining)
On trackProjected final value โ‰ฅ target value
At riskProjected to miss by any amount

Velocity is recalculated each time a new KPI snapshot arrives. Goals update in real time as your data changes.

Goal health on mosaic tiles

Every mosaic tile linked to a goal metric shows a small progress badge:

  • Q3: 68% โœ“ โ€” on track
  • Q3: 64% โš ๏ธ โ€” at risk

The badge reflects the latest projection. If your velocity improves, the badge updates automatically.

Predictive alerts

When trajectory diverges from a goal, an alert fires in the Action Center before the deadline โ€” not after. You'll see:

  • Which goal is at risk
  • How far off the current trajectory is
  • How many weeks remain to course-correct
  • A recommended action from Orion

The alert fires as soon as the projection misses the target โ€” even if that's 8 weeks before the deadline. This gives you time to respond.

Goal history

Every goal keeps a history of how the projection changed over time. You can see the full trajectory โ€” when it was on track, when it first showed risk, and what actions were taken in response. Log actions in the linked Action Center entry to build institutional memory.
