Tip
What it is: Automatic workspace setup that runs after your first warehouse connection โ€” no manual configuration required.
Why use it: You go from "connected" to "first dashboard" in under 60 seconds, without knowing what a domain or node is yet.
When it runs: Automatically, once, after your first successful warehouse connection.
Who controls it: Luminary role. Provisioning result is shown in the Getting Started checklist.

Auto-Provisioning

After connecting your warehouse, Celiq automatically:

  • Scans your schema
  • Detects your business type
  • Creates a domain with nodes and reveals
  • Builds 3 starter dashboards
  • Delivers your first insight

All in about 60 seconds.

What gets created

Celiq detects your business type from your table names and creates appropriate reveals:

Business typeStarter reveals
EcommerceRevenue, Customer, Product, Return Rate reveals
SaaSMRR, Churn, User Growth reveals
Marketing agencyCAC, ROAS, Channel Performance reveals
GenericKPI Overview, Trend Analysis reveals

Starter dashboards

3 pre-built Mosaics are created using your actual data. For ecommerce workspaces this is typically:

  1. Revenue Overview
  2. Customer Growth
  3. Product Performance

These use the auto-generated reveals and pull live data immediately.

Your first insight

Orion analyses your data and tells you something interesting before you ask your first question. This is generated from your KPI snapshots and appears in the Getting Started checklist as "First Insight Ready".

Provisioning status

You can track provisioning progress in real time on the Getting Started page:

StatusMeaning
scanningReading your schema
detectingIdentifying business type
creating_domainBuilding your semantic layer
building_mosaicsCreating starter dashboards
completeDone โ€” workspace ready
failedAn error occurred โ€” see error details

If provisioning fails, click "Retry provisioning" on the Getting Started page. The most common cause is a permissions issue on the warehouse connection.

Editing what was created

Everything Auto-Provisioning creates is fully editable:

  • Nodes and domains: Suite โ†’ Forge
  • Mosaics: Suite โ†’ Mosaics
  • Reveals: click any reveal on a Mosaic tile, then "Edit in Forge"
