Tip
Goal: Set up recurring delivery of a Prism by email, Slack, or Teams, then send a test.
Time: ~5 minutes
You'll need: A saved Prism (and a connected Slack integration if you deliver to Slack)
Role: Weaver or Luminary

Scheduled delivery turns a report you'd otherwise open and export by hand into something that arrives on its own. In this tutorial you'll attach a schedule to a single Prism, pick how often it runs, who receives it, and in what format โ€” then fire a one-off test before relying on the recurring run.

Before you start

  • Have a saved Prism to schedule. Each Prism holds at most one schedule.
  • Confirm you have the Weaver or Luminary role to create schedules.
  • For Slack delivery, make sure your workspace's Slack integration is connected and the target channel exists.

Steps

1

Open the schedule editor

Open the Prism and click Schedule delivery on its detail panel. The Schedule delivery dialog opens with the fields Frequency, Time, Channel, Destination, and Format.

2

Choose a frequency and time

Pick Frequency โ€” Daily, Weekly, or Monthly โ€” and set the Time of day. A new schedule defaults to weekly at 09:00 UTC if you leave them untouched.

3

Pick a channel and destination

Set Channel to Email, Slack, or Teams. In Destination, enter the email address, Slack channel, or webhook. For email, separate multiple addresses with commas.

4

Choose a format

Select Format โ€” PDF, CSV, or Excel. PDF is the default.

5

Save the schedule

Click Save schedule. Celiq upserts the schedule for this Prism and marks it active โ€” if a schedule already existed, your values replace it. The panel shows "Schedule saved" on success.

6

Send a test

After saving, trigger a test delivery. Celiq emails the recipients in the schedule's destination with a clearly marked Test delivery message, so you can confirm the address list and format before the recurring run takes over. Always save before testing โ€” the test reads the stored schedule, so an unsaved form has nothing to deliver.

Note

Need cron-level control (hourly, specific days) or several cadences for the same content? Model it as a Mosaic and manage workspace Mosaic schedules at Lumen โ†’ Schedules (/lumen/schedules).

Result

The Prism now has one active schedule. At the chosen frequency and time, Celiq renders the Prism and delivers it to your recipients in the selected format. Your test message has already confirmed the recipient list and format are correct, so the first real run lands without surprises.
